I am sure that everyone is in agreement that we are all glad that the semester is finally over. Though I do for see boredom at home, it will not be nearly as bad as the hell that was this last semester. I am thankful to even have made it. Between classes and everything else, I saw neither hide nor hair of anyone except my roommate. Which made me feel pretty pissed and sad that I didn't get to hang out with one of my awesome friends that graduated at the end of this semester. Congratulations to you, by the way, for the graduating and the other thing!!

I am really enjoying my intersession class on the Sociology of Death and Dying (my first class based solely on my choice). It has taught me a lot about how the rest of the world views death. I have always had trouble seeing how others viewed death in such a negative light. Heck, the only time death has ever made me sad was when my dog died suddenly from something poisonous he ate at the lake that caused him to...(for the sake of those who actually read this I will skip the details).. needless to say, it was bad. For the most part I have always seen death as a natural thing to be met, unafraid. Though it is natural to resist it. It is only natural to. This is also not to say that I do not miss people who have died, but I do not lament their passing. I needed some of this incite; to aid me in becoming a physician and eventually helping others cope with it. In a way, this also helped me feel more comfortable about feeling the way I do about death.
I am hoping this new concept, I have picked up again recently, called "free-time" will allow my creative juices to start flowing again.
